Kenneth Cole
FRAGRANCE CAMPAIGNS

Created several multimedia campaigns for the launch of new Kenneth Cole fragrances, as well as updates to existing campaigns, working directly with the fragrance licensee as the creative agency. All aspects of the campaign concepts and their execution were carried out in-house.

Kenneth Cole —
THE FRAGRANCE

Simply named ‘Kenneth Cole’ after the man himself, the designer’s first new fragrance in over 14 years was an ode to the vibrant energy of New York City, and its bold inhabitants. The campaign, The Here. The Now. The Ready., was meant to capture and embody that strong, independent urban spirit in a series of print ads and campaign films. The new men’s and women’s fragrance was accompanied by a line of three unisex flanker fragrances, meant to be mixed and matched.

BLACK BOLD

A sequel to Kenneth Cole Black, Black Bold is a powerful, more intense version of the original men’s fragrance. Inspired by the boldness of black on black, the intention of the campaign was to convey a surge of strong, restless and intense energy bolting through the city. Filming exquisite POV footage of a Ducati speeding through Manhattan at night, paired with austere shots of model David Alexander Flinn, the Find Your Bold campaign concept was dedicated to the thrill seekers who create their own destinies.

MANKIND HERO

The campaign for Mankind Hero, the second fragrance to join what is now the Mankind series, was built around the idea of a role model, his/her ability to impact the lives of those around them and the powerful strong bond this relationship fosters. Deciding to highlight this role model dynamic, a father and son were cast — legendary supermodel John Pearson and his son Jack — and interviewed about their own heroes.
